Lightweight Wall Tent -Courthouse
The Courthouse is a lightweight wall tent with dual center poles and 31" side walls. Designed with cots in mind, the Courthouse offers a tremendous amount of usable space for the footprint. The side walls mean less wasted space in the edges of the tent compared to a tipi. This shelter will fit 3 full sized cots, a stove and still have room in the front for gear and firewood.
The perfect wall tent for animal packers looking to lighten their load but still have a roomy, storm worthy wall tent. The dual pole design means that a larger portion of the tent has standing room compared to a tipi, making this a great gathering tent for larger groups
The tent comes with 30 aluminum stakes (15 Twisted & 15 Standard), 100ft of Atwood reflective cordage, a tube of Silnet, and two aluminum center poles.
The sod skirt is larger then on our tipi tents and is made from our burly 40d floor fabric. The rear vent features a large flap that can be tied out for airflow or tied down for weathering storms or retaining more heat. This tent features screen doors that can be tied back or left closed independently of the main doors.
We recommend 9ft of stovepipe for this wall tent.

KNOTS:
Read Knots You Should Know to learn our favorite ways of rigging cordage to perform tasks. The most common tasks you'll find are:
- Putting a Prusik On The Pole to pitch a nest or rig a dryline for hanging gear.
- Tying guyline or mainline to a tree or branch.
- Connecting line to a guyout.
- Tying off to a stake.
SEAM SEALING:
For best results we recommend seam-sealing your tent. You can do it at home or have us do it for you (adds 2-3 weeks)(if we seal the shelter it will be shipped without extra tubes of sealant):

- The Courthouse includes enough seam sealer to seal the entire tipi.
- Seal the outside seams, but do it from the inside - pitching the tipi inside out allows you to reach all of the seams.
- The easy way to seal is to run a thin bead of sealant along the seam, then press it in with a finger, wiping the excess on a paper towel.
- Alternatively, you can use an acid brush from a hardware store to spread the sealant.
